Trip Details

Who: Students that have completed grades 9-12 for the 2024-2025 school year, adults/leaders, and families.

What: Sharing the gospel in the inner-city of Chicago with Reach the Heart and Pastor Charles Moodie (Chicago City Life Center) along with many other participants from across the U.S.A.

When: June 14-22, 2025

Where: Chicago City Life Center in the inner-city of Chicago, IL

Cost: $625.00 per participant

Those traveling with a Group‍

We LOVE having youth groups, churches, and youth districts wanting to participate with Reach the Heart in Reach Chicago.

Groups attending decide one of the two following options:

1. Travel from Fargo, ND with Reach the Heart to Chicago, IL and back.

2. Travel directly to Chicago from their own starting location and back (suggested for groups in closer proximity to Chicago, IL). Please contact the Reach the Heart administration prior to downloading the following applications.

Attending as an individual (no group association)

If you are not participating with a youth group, church or youth district, this section is for you!

Download the Student/Minor Application above if the following applies to you:

We define students as individuals that have completed grades 9-12 in the 2024-2025 school year.
If you are 18-years-old and graduated in the 2024-2025 school year, you are considered a student for the Reach Chicago 2025 trip.

Download the Adult/Leader Application above if the following applies to you:

We define leaders/adults as participants 19 years old or older (or 18 year old's who live independently).
We require all leader applicants serve 1-year in Youth Ministry leadership by the Spring of 2025.
We require ALL adult participants who are not considered leaders/chaperones to be connected with a registered group (ex. Chi Alpha groups).

All participants traveling with a youth group, church, or youth district must contact the leader of the group they are traveling with for an application.

Serve on the Kitchen Crew

Join the Kitchen Crew in preparing meals daily for the students and leaders serving on the Reach Chicago trip.

We define Kitchen Crew participants 18 years old or older serving in the kitchen on the Reach Chicago outreach.
We require any Kitchen Crew participant's child(ren) serving on the Kitchen Crew must be 16 years old or older.
A student of eligible age to participate in Reach Chicago as a student/minor participant and their parent is not attending as a Kitchen Crew participant is not eligible to serve as a Kitchen Crew participant.
Kitchen Crew participants understand that working in the kitchen is your ministry, and other ministry opportunities will be limited.
