“There is a way that appears to be right, but in the end, it leads to death.”
Too often, people decide they want to be sure they fit in, so they choose to follow after the crowd, not realizing the direction crowds were leading them was to nowhere! Having been a youth pastor for more than 30 years, I have seen many students in the church influenced by their friends rather than influenced by what the Bible says.
For centuries, the Bible has been the standard of how people have chosen to live. Society today is daily affected and influenced by those who have allowed their desires to lead how they live their life.
“If it feels right, it, therefore, must be right.”
Or
“Everyone else is doing it, so it must be normal.”
Unfortunately, statements like these become the standards people choose to use to lead their life. But the Bible declares there is only one road, and it is a narrow road. A road that will take those who have their eyes focused upon Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. Before you take off down any road, take a good look at those who are already traveling that road and ask yourself,
"Is this the direction God wants me to go?"
