How often have you found yourself coming up against some very big and intimidating obstacles and found God to be faithful and provide an ability to overcome them?

In the story of David and Goliath, David, a teenager, found himself up against a giant of a problem. At this point, the rest of Israel had already decided that this problem was not one worth tackling and decided to wait and see if it would eventually just go away. But this giant, like many obstacles you face, will not be going away, unless, like David, you choose to stand strong.

For David, even at a young age, God had prepared him to be able to take a stand and know what it would take to defeat an enemy.

Earlier in his life, David faced a bear and a lion, and God delivered him. David now saw this giant as nothing more than another opportunity for God to perform a miracle.

Before some of those big obstacles can come in your life, why not take time to trust God to use you right where you’re at to reach a friend with the Gospel; to pray for someone who is sick to be healed; or have the faith to believe God to change an evil circumstance. There's very little any person can do in their own strength, but by the power of God’s Holy Spirit, we will be able to bring down BIG GIANTS.
