During that time, there were many occasions that God became very frustrated with His people. Even after God had performed miracle after miracle, delivered them out of Egypt, took them through the Red Sea, brought them water out of a rock, and delivered manna from the heavens, the children of Israel continued to test the patience of the Lord to the point they would even ask,
“Is the Lord among us or not?”
Undoubtedly, there have been those occasions that you too have wondered,
"Where is God?"
Like the people in the desert, you too wonder,
"Is this walk with God worth it?"
This journey is worth it. The reason many people did not make it to the promised land was that they decided to stop trusting God in the journey. But Joshua did trust God. In Joshua 1:5, God spoke to Joshua and said,
“No one will be able to stand against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
In your journey as a follower, God has said something to you. In Philippians 1:6, he tells you,
“Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”
