“The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and the one who is wise saves lives.”
There is probably no greater level of excitement that heaven will experience than when a person decides to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. There is no greater joy one can have than to see someone you have talked to about Christ, accept Christ. It’s unfortunate, but most young believers have taken a “wait and see attitude” as to whether or not they will ever share Jesus Christ with their friends. They hope that maybe someone else will come along or their friend will go to a church and accept Jesus. On most occasions, we are fearful that if we share our faith with our friends, those friends might become turned off and not want to continue to be our friend.
In some cases, that may be true. It might happen. Weigh your present friendship against the length that a friend would spend in hell. Remind yourself this: it is more than just the risk of your friendship at stake. The Bible says in John 15:13 that,
"Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends."
