God is looking for those people who are willing to seek His ways and not just follow His acts.

Many people follow their favorite stars, but what you and I see on stage is at times much different from their lifestyle. Too often, I have found myself getting caught up in some exciting things that God is doing, and those are important times. Just as important is the decision I make to follow His word and build my spiritual character on what the Word of God says!

When God brought the children of Israel out of Egypt, the people were amazed by what they SAW God do. They saw the effects of 10 plagues, the parting of the Red Sea, manna from heaven, a fire that led them by night and a cloud by day. But what does scripture say the people did? They quarreled, they grumbled, the children of Israel even complained against God, and, like spoiled children, wished they were back in Egypt. These people, like you and I, were easily excited by what they saw God doing, but when the excitement of the moment is over, what happened then?

The most important thing you and I can be doing is developing a relationship with God himself.

Don’t depend on what others say to be your only source, but take time yourself to know God.
